Contemporary art, exchange, film, and public programming.
Hyphae develops exhibitions, screenings, publications, research initiatives, and artist-centered exchange programs that connect Alabama with international artistic communities. The organization works across local, regional, and transnational contexts to create public access to contemporary art and cultural knowledge.
Its activities are rooted in collaboration, public education, and long-term artistic exchange. Hyphae supports artists, filmmakers, writers, and communities through exhibitions, moving-image work, talks, workshops, and archival projects.
